Au premier Ã©tage, le balcon, protÃ©gÃ© par un auvent portÃ© par de fines colonnes, repose sur des corbeaux Ã  volutes, caractÃ©ristiques de lâ€™art-dÃ©co. Il est ornÃ©, comme le pan coupÃ© de lâ€™angle du bÃ¢timent, de panneaux de zellijs aux motifs figuratifs, proches des dÃ©cors Art-nouveau.&#13;

Le docteur Speder Ã©tait un amateur dâ€™art : en 1932, il commande Ã  Jacques Majorelle des fresques pour les murs de sa salle Ã  manger. &#13;

Le centre radiologique Ã©tait considÃ©rÃ© Ã  lâ€™Ã©poque comme trÃ¨s innovant. En 1932, la revue Afrique du Nord illustrÃ©e en parle ainsiÂ : "â€¦une installation privÃ©e ultra moderne et telle quâ€™il est bien peu de trÃ¨s grands autres de la mÃ©tropole qui peuvent en prÃ©senter de semblables".&#13;

Le cabinet est toujours en activitÃ©, mais une demande de dÃ©molition refusÃ©e a eu pour effet le badigeonnage des zellijs du premier Ã©tage afin, sans doute, de minimiser lâ€™intÃ©rÃªt du bÃ¢timent.</text>
